I upgraded my 20 inch Starmaster with a new chip from Victor
McKeighan (Sky Commander) that allows a 7 arcseconds/second guide
rate. Also added were double roller bearings from Rick Singmaster
of Starmaster Telescopes that provides smooth and responsive motion
when making guide corrections. This upgrade allows the scope to do
longer exposure prime focus imaging limited only by the maximum
exposure time needed to avoid field rotation.
