Canon saves its AVIs in a compressed format. You need a freeware
utility called Virtual Dub - just open the AVI in VDub, save it again,
and it will save in uncompressed format. Run that one through
Registax. VDub is very popular and should be easy to Google up. Make
sure you let us see your pix!
