I can't figure out which way to go here, I am stuck. I am looking
at the Takahashi M-160 and the TMB 105 f/6.2 for my fist scope. I am
worried about all the little nuances that come with owning a newt, I
like the quick and easy setup of the APO. My end goal is to get
into astrophotography; I would consider myself a decent armature
photographer. Can someone please give me some detailed examples of
what I will see with the newt over the APO? I live in a suburban
town in New Jersey, the closest Dark Sky area can be summed up as
follows:
Moderate light pollution.
Typical naked-eye magnitude limit on a clear, moonless night:
At the zenith: 5.6
East: 5.0
West: 5.2
North: 5.4
South: 4.5
Horizons:
East: 25 degrees
West: 40 degrees
North: 40 degrees
South: 35 degrees
Thanks,
Marc
