Hi! Seems that there's indeed some interest in double stars. The
most interesting I have come across so far is Gamma Delphini. Why so
interesting? Because it has the "impossible" green colour! Black
body radiation (stars) are supposed to go from red (cool) to yellow
to blue (very hot). Some say that the perception of green is purely
in the eye of the beholder. The mind plays tricks. IMHO, rubbish! It
also recorded green in the eye of my camera. Perhaps it varies over
time, eg could be that the green member is an eclipsing binary
(unresolved) made up by a blue and an orange star. At certain ratios
of orange+blue one can create a green in Photoshop, of a tint that
matches what I got from the camera. All related on this webpage:

So I would be very interested if others also record it as green,
without playing with "Curves" in Photoshop, thereby debunking this
astrophysical myth. If you cannot find Gamma Delphini on your star
charts, it's at:
RA: 20h 46m 40s Dec: +16°07'27" (Epoch 2000)
Any chasers out there?
