If your T-ring fits your telescope *and* your camera, you're all set
for prime focus. Generally, the tele-extender is used for eyepiece
projection. An eyepiece slides into one end of the extender and the
camera on the other. Sometimes, depending on the size of the tele-
extender, you may need an eyepiece holder for the extender. Stand
over your bed (or a very soft spot!) and slide an eyepiece into the
extender. If it can possibly slide all the way through the extender,
then you will definitely need an eyepiece holder. Normally, it's
just about impossible for the eyepiece to fall into the telescope
(which, if you're imaging the skies should never be pointing down!),
but it's certainly possible for the eyepiece to slide backwards into
your camera!
