Yesterday I was short of sleep and took a lot of images from NGC7000
in this warm midsummer night.
The first results with 5 min at ISO800 and mag 5 sky in white light
were disappointing, as almost no nebula showed up and the background
was grey.
So I tried the Lumicon 2" UHC filter with >95 transmission in H-beta,
O3 and H-alpha. 10 min shots at ISO1600 resulted in a blue nebula
with some red lines, but it was there!
