Someone else is now enjoying my 885 :(
Can you recommend a replacement?
My 885 had about twice as many exposure/focusing options as I ever
used, so I could live with something simpler.
I always used the full resolution mode, and unless I wanted to make
a full-frame photo out of a 300% zoom, I never needed all of the
megapixels that I got.
The most irritating feature is the poor flash strength, and the
reddish background that the underexposure leaves.
Focusing was also hit-or-miss, especially in macro mode.
What should I spend the insurance money on? Maybe $350 -$400 after
the deductible, maybe less...
