I just had the exact same problem as above happen to my Coolpix 885,
except that the conditions here are not humid (NYC). Last night I
downloaded a 64Mb card to my computer, turned teh camera off and
disconnected; this morning, system error.

My camera isn't under warranty. Am I screwed or is there a
workaround?
