Bill,
I travel around the country a lot in my work and
Had a chance to stop at a Love's Truck stop
In May where I spied a 300 Watt inverter for $20.
I grabbed it and have not been disappointed.
I can now run my laptop all day long while driving
And with my Wi-Fi internet card, stay connected
To the net all day.
I can charge batteries to my hearts content and
Never worry about dead batteries.
I was in a Pilot Truck Stop yesterday in Tennessee
And saw another brand inverter also for $20. So, that
Is my solution to the battery problem.

After 250 or so pictures the fully charged battery gave out. The problem
was I was little more than half way through week long camping vacation
with no really convient way to recharge it so I ended up missing a
fewpictures I would have liked to take. Not an earth shaking problem but
one crying outor a solution. Monday morning I ordered a spare battery
@$29.99, probably should have ordered two. Anyway is there a charger for
the CoolPix 995 that will work off my cigarette lighter. All my other
battery devices including my laptop which also uses alithium-ion battery
have one. Can someone help me on this.
