Bill,
You could always get an inverter (12vDC to 120vAC) and use your existing
charger.
Never hurts to have at least one spare battery...what would you use while
you were charging your ONLY battery? :-)

After 250 or so pictures the fully charged battery gave out. The problem
was I was little more than half way through week long camping vacation
with no really convient way to recharge it so I ended up missing a
fewpictures I would have liked to take. Not an earth shaking problem but
one crying outor a solution. Monday morning I ordered a spare battery
@$29.99, probably should have ordered two. Anyway is there a charger for
the CoolPix 995 that will work off my cigarette lighter. All my other
battery devices including my laptop which also uses alithium-ion battery
have one. Can someone help me on this.
