I am trying to digitize negatives and the camera does invert the
colours, but they all have a red cast to them. I have set the slide
copying to "inverse" but still there is a red hue to the digi-pics. I
have tried to set the white balance to the various settings, but the
results are the same for ALL setting - there is an identical red hue
to the digi-pics. I can get the colours close if I shoot against a
coloured (red) background (or blue background with a household lightbulb).
Is it possible to set the white-balance in "slide-copy" mode? The
manual is mute on this topic I believe. Thanks. Coolpix 5400 Malcolm
