DPreview.com has an excellent guide to digital film. It includes
speed ratings for many CF cards. One section shows actual write
times for these cards in a Coolpix 995. From their homepage click on
the buyer's guides tab, then on digital film. There is a substanial
difference between the various cards when used in the same camera.
The bottom line is that paying extra for a "high speed" card isn't
worth it if you get one of the better rated "regular" cards.
