Hi Lee, The only way to set to TIFF is Manual mode. You can still shoot
with auto focus and auto shutter in manual mode. Also, to change
exposure and shutter speed in manual mode but you will have to go into
the menu from manual mode instead of going to setup on the dial to get
all this.

I've got a 4300 and I'm trying to get some large TIFF images on it. But

says something like I can't set the Img. Qual. to "HI" in the SETUP

that's virtually the only place I can control it. There's some other

called the "SHOOTING MENU" but that's what I'm using. Whatever the

I'm unable to set it to "HI" and I can't get uncompressed TIFFS. I'm

some trouble trying to figure out how to change the exposure and shutter
speed. Again, there's options here, the manual explains it, but the
camera
doesn't seem to allow me to alter these settings. Go figure.
