Jean, I have a program at:

designed exactly for this job. Not only can edited camera pictures be
transferred bac (normally these are not recognised by the camera), but
virtually any JPEG you can create (such as maps of other graphics, or
scanned images) as well. It works on many digital cameras, including many
in the CoolPix range, so I would be delighted to hear if it works for your
775.
