In general terms, what is a price comparison with the competition in the US
like?

In addition to these there are also UHF repeaters for the 149.440
paging system. These might go from CACC base to ambulance base or
from ambulance base to ambulance base. The paging receivers in the
ambulance bases are only equipped with a indoor rubber ducky antenna.

I see someone has updated the provincial system at trunkedradio.net with
talkgroups for the MNR. Guess they are starting to switch.

And by the looks of it, they're all in digital. Or is it just because it's enforcement?
Also, by the looks of things, whoever is posting the stuff obviously has inside information and just posting it as it comes along.
Zone 2 has barely begun, but yet some of the MOH talkgroups are already there, but only a few frequencies are mentioned.

I can't really comment on the MNR stuff... I haven't seen any activity
around London... but it's just a matter of catching activity on the new
talkgroups as they are tested. If you have a 250 or 785 away you go.... As
far as MOH goes, there is a lot of testing going on here in London. City 1
is active now, and I've heard testing on many of the other London channels,
as well as the regional and SW Zone common talk groups.

Saw some posts about FRS radios. I have one. Lots of activity, some
of it besiness stuff by the sounds of it.
I was able to talk to someone 25 KM's away, mind you I have a clear
shot, being very high up and over Hamilton Bay.
Does anyone hear any activity on their scanners for FRS? I imagine
some of you guys use them, I would love to talk to people in and
around here.
If I am off topic I am sure I will be told but I noticed some posts
about it so...

I'm on the south east side of Lake Simcoe and I hear
a bit of traffic coming off the lake from people in their fish
huts about where the fish are biting and from the hut
operators calling back to their base. I'm also near a horse
stable and when they have a show I hear them also on
FRS and the usual kids playing with the radios also.

Regarding the trunkedradio.net record for Provincial Zone 2
system 822f, Site 8, I don't believe the location is Lanark
as stated. In the Ottawa area it is Hydro-Quebec in either
(or both) Papineaville or Bryson according to TAFL, which
would be too geographically close. Trunker in the Ottawa
area confirms this. It would be further west or south-west.

I don't want to add to the problem, but when Steve interjects
