  Ron? Where are you?

Anyway, enough with the Ron joke... If the OPP uses these codes, what are
they based on? Generally all of the different code systems in use
originated somewhere, and have been perpetuated by various jurisdictions.
The infamous 10 codes are a well known example of this. So where did this
OPP code system originate, and does anyone else in the world use this same
system? What does the OPP do when a 'new' crime is defined? Do they modify
the code or add to it? If so, is there any 'official' source for the code?

I have been noticing the past couple of days that the Ministry of Finances Enforcement car has been sitting across the street for the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie with two officers in the car, does any one have the frequencies for them. I would like to listen in on them.
