Hi. Does anyone know the frequs that Go Transit uses? I know they
have one that I used to monitor, around 411.9 something, Willowbrook
in west Toronto.
I take Go transit 4x a week between Hamilton and Union station. The
activity on the bus' radio was constant. It would be good to know,
especially in bad weather as then I could hear if the bus trips are
long and take a train.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Eric

The only time I've had this problem is when I hand-edited a
file and messed up a line, or like you managed to truncate a
file in the middle of line.

As Steve's suggested, go to trunkedradio.net, to the Downloads
section, download and install T4Win; it's easy. Mine
didn't work the first time. In the Forums section, the author
(Rick) indicated how some people need a Windows file update
from the Microsoft site. I did this, and it worked.
From what little I've used it, T4Win does seem better than
Trunker in some ways, not as good in others. T4Win doesn't
seem to like Type I systems, although they are becoming fewer
these days, but Trunker fills that gap.
Incidentally, I can run T4WIN and Trunker concurrently
because they use different resources, all on a 166MHz P2
machine (Win98)!
Some people might get the idea that a discrimiator tap
is no longer needed...not true. I tried normal audio from a
speaker jack, and it looked well clipped on the T4Win scope
display (a neat feature), but decoding was 0%...with the
D-tap it was 100%.

413.7625 Renfrew Co. EMS I know this PL is 118.8 but doesn't need
it to listen to.
410.7625 EMS, I know I've heard Napanee EMS here a long time ago,
but haven't checked it out.
I've tried 118.8 on most of these, and they're not the right ones
for the EMS. I know on other ch's 186.2, 203.5 and 162.2 have all
been used.

Does the gov't send out, what appears to be a list of recently
aquired freqs for new services or companies. Just like the US does,
like a list I have below.
If so, what would the link be.

As far as I know, there is no list or file that is maintained by IC. It would be
nice, but that would be too much work for an under budgeted, under staffed and
over worked agency.. :)
