Hi All,

I couldn't resist the temptation of another clear night last night! I had
intended to try for M58 but was defeated by streetlight glare - it was
literally impossible to see anything through my finder. So I had a go at M94
instead, and took a set of 60-ish 15s exposures. Then I had a go at M63 and
took a similar set of exposures.

Here are the results.

All at prime focus of 150mm F/5 Newtonian, Baader Neodymium filter, cooled
modified 1004x camera.
All pre-processed with AVIDark, aligned/stacked/histog in iMerge, final
processing (USM, histog, Varisharp, resize) in PaintshopPro.

I've attached two versions of M94, a smaller one processed to emphasise the
halo which is separated from the rest of the galaxy by a dark ring, and the
other showing the central regions.

Clear Skies,
Jon.
