Hi all,
I was not planning to bring up the following issue here, but since my name
is mentioned and a declaration is made in public that Astromeccanica never
took advantage of somebodys work without permission, I will make a single
comment about it.
The page http://www.astromeccanica.it/ccd_camera.htm lists a deep sky
processing tutorial as part of a "Standard Equipment". The page is last
modified 04/02/2003 (I take that to mean 2nd of April 2003 as other pages of
yours uses the format 03/25/2003). The page also links directly to my site,
using my name in the link.
It is clear that Astromeccanica was originally authorized to use this
information, but on March 8, 2003 Paolo Lazzarotti agreed explicitely (in an
email to me) to the following requirement I put forward: "You will stop
using my K3CCDTutorial. You will declare to me it will no longer be used and
that you will delete all copies you have and not distribute it on CD or in
any other way to your customers."
The above may possibly have no direct relevance to the ES640 camera itself.
I have no plans to follow up on this thread here. Astronomy is more fun.
Clear skies
