Do you have details on the T2FD?

I expect since you are transmitting, the termination resistor was not of
high wattage?

Kinda long though for my yard....

LP....how high?

I've got RG-213 and LMR-400. Those should be okay.

Oh, just thought about active antennas....ever try one?

Hello Tim

For software, I will recomend TalkPCR.

Depends on what you will listning to, I am using a Log periodic
beam for 100Mhz to 600Mhz.

Again it depends on the length that you are using.

No, a longwire is no good with the PCR, to noisy and it is
overloading the reciever. Use a low noise antenna, a good
choise is a T2FD, I love the one I have build.

And a must for the HF bands is a passive preselector, it
realy makes wonder with the PCR, I have build this one and
it works realy good.
