| Subject | Been subscribed a while and finally ordered a PCR-1000 and looking for 'stuff' |
I finally found a PCR-1000 that was available without the Bobobo SW
and ordered one. Run LInux here so did not wnat to spend the extra
$100 for something that would just take up space...
Have been looking around using google and found some Linux stuff for
making the radio play.
Also found some reference to a 'fugitive' icom calibration program that
can backup and restore the cal data but have had no success in locating
said fugitive. Will appreaiate any information regarding the current
utility of having this guy under control, and if he's useful, as to
where he might be found.
Would be nice to have no gaps in coverage as one intended use is as test
gear and will appreiate any hints as to how the thing might be repaired
from it's legislatively broken state?
I've some older AMPs test gear plus an Icom RZ-100 plus some other gear
that covers AMPs but have no interest in actually listening
to things like, "ring ring ring, honey, I have to work late...click, ring
ring, ...babe, I'll be right over".
